What to See and do
In addition to the races there is an extensive vendor area filled with all kinds of automotive collectables, books, posters, and services. Two food courts provide an extensive variety of lunch options. But probably the most interesting thing to do is to explore the open paddock where you can get up close to the cars and talk with the drivers. In the paddock area you will find the Rolex Moments in Time exhibit which features world class cars in a museum setting.

What to Bring
The weather in Monterey can change from cool fog in the morning to bright sun in the afternoon. Bring a jacket, hat, sun screen, and water. If you plan to sit on in one of the many hill side viewing areas a blanket or some form of folding chair would be welcome.

Where to Stay
There are many wonderful hotels in the area but they do book up fast, so make your reservations early. You can also camp at the track. Down load the Laguna Seca Camping Guide (PDF)
